Clinical Trials Reform
Clinical trials are research investigations which involve volunteers participating in studies to determine the effectiveness and safety of health interventions. These include medications, medical devices, or interventions as a means to prevent, detect or treat diseases or medical conditions. Clinical trials are essential to providing the evidence needed to turn medical research or knowledge into treatments. The Department of Industry is currently working to streamline and support the Australian clinical trials environment to attract investment.
