Welcome to the National Survey of Research Commercialisation, Australia’s only data collection on how the publicly funded research system collaborates with industry to transfer knowledge and commercialise research.
Since 2000, the survey has been collecting information from universities, medical research institutes and major publicly funded research agencies on how they collaborate with industry partners to commercialise research. The collection now spans 2000–15.
The most recent addition to the data collection is the 2015 survey data, 2014–15 Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) data and 2015 Intellectual Property (IP) data.
Release of the 2015 data was announced in July 2017.

2016 Data Survey collection
The 2016 National Survey of Research Commercialisation data collection will be open from 19 September until 31 October 2017. The NSRC survey will be distributed via SurveyMonkey’s email invitation collection method. If you have not received your email invitation or experience any difficulties, please email the NSRC team: nsrc@industry.gov.au.
